Happy New Year! It seems 2012 heralds a spate of spam and really poor quality phishing (attempts to access your personal information). Remember Microsoft/your bank/building society/service provider are very unlikely to be contacting you. If they do they will NOT ask for your password, nor will they expect you to click on a link in their mail, nor download any attachments. All of these should be avoided. Fortunately they are lame attempts which will dupe only a very few of the most gullible people – make sure you're not one of them!
