As of 5th December 2011 the current version of the 7-series Drupal Content Management System software is v7.10 – this was in the words of its creators "a maintenance release with numerous bug fixes (no security fixes) is now available for download. Several major bugs, including one causing errors with the 5.x branch of Drush, have been fixed this release" and that “upgrading your existing Drupal 7 sites is strongly recommended”.
